Summary The themes in this module support learners with the communication skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) needed at work: understanding and following instructions, communicating with colleagues and members of the public, understanding workplace and training information. This material in this module is generic to a range of cleaning settings. One of three modules support the teaching of Catering. The 3 modules do not supply a complete programme of learning. Instead, aspects of the training that place a particular demand on literacy, language and numeracy skills have been prioritised.
